The average grade achieved by a student was a B, which is a remarkable achievement. Other noteworthy results include the fact that 7% of students achieved A* grades, 25% A*/A and 54% A*/B with 100% of students achieving A*-E grades. It is difficult to pick out individual subjects but results are especially favourable in Maths, Physics, English Literature, Religious Studies, Psychology, Geography, History, Economics and Textiles. On 10th November 2017, The Morley Academy in Leeds, an accredited World Class school, hosted the 2017 World Class School Quality Mark Assessment Centre. It was the final assessment stage for the 2017 cohort of schools applying to achieve World Class Schools Quality Mark accreditation.

On Monday 10th July, 36 Year 9 Spanish students flew to Barcelona for 5 days to experience Spanish culture and visit many of the amazing attractions!
We explored the Nou Camp stadium and admired many of the architectural sights around the city, such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, along with taking a cable car ride up to Montjuic Castle where we took in the amazing views across the city.

Monday 11th July
Having travelled through the night, we arrived in France at around 8.30 a.m. and headed for the seaside town of Honfleur. Arriving at lunchtime, staff and students were able to stretch their legs and take in the picturesque marina. Some students even took the opportunity to sample some local seafood.
