School Production

Every musical needs a ‘pit orchestra’ and we have played in the last few years for: Grease, Bugsy Malone, Oliver and Les Misérables, We Will Rock You and Oh What a Lovely War at school. We have also played for Little Shop of Horrors, Fame, Sweeney Todd and Return to the Forbidden Planet at the Sixth form.
Musicians need to be of a very good standard – at least Grade VI and be confident to play out on their own and be able to concentrate for a long time.

Music Flashes

You are entitled to a music flash when you have been a committed member of a group for two years.
Junior Musician: achieve Grade III standard on an instrument.
Senior Musician: achieve Grade V standard on an instrument
Let us know if you are eligible for an award. They are presented at Presentation Evening or in end of year assemblies each year.
