Extra-Curricular

The History department runs a successful and popular History club which allows students to develop their wider understanding of history through the study of topics not taught on the National Curriculum. These include the Romans, Ancient Egyptians, the pre historic era, the French Revolution, the Crusades and America in the 1930s.

Pupils also take part in a number of history trips including a visit to Warwick Castle and its dungeons in Year 7. Year 8 take part in a visit to the Blisthill Victorian Museum and trips to the Holocaust Museum at Beth Shalom take place in Year 10.
