As some of you will be aware, we are now into the second phase of the School Sports Partnership. The first phase has been successful and has seen many developments within Physical Education in our feeder schools. The aim of the School Sports Partnership is to increase the hours of high quality Physical Education and school sport that our pupils are engaged in within and beyond the school curriculum. So far, the majority of year groups within the Painsely Cluster are already doing huge amounts of Physical Education and school sport, however as the Olympics beckons it is our job to increase the opportunity our pupils have at being physically active.
The cluster has many events programmed for this forthcoming year and is really looking forward to the extra opportunities the Big Lottery money will bring.
The Cheadle Schools Sports hall will enable the Painsley feeder schools to offer a wider range of sporting activities and we look for to using this new facility
