The Archbishop and Trustees of the Archdiocese appoints foundation governors. Appointments take account of representing parish interests and school interests where appropriate.
One parent is appointed by each school to represent the interests of the school’s parents as a foundation parent governor. Two additional parents may be appointed or elected.
The headteachers are regarded as staff governors. One teaching member of staff and one non-teaching member of staff are elected across the federation.
Staffordshire Council appoints the local authority representative.
