Painsley Catholic College celebrated its annual Christmas supper and concerts this week in its usual festive, heart-warming manner.
The concerts, which took place over two nights, included traditional Christmas Carols and pieces played by the College’s Wind Band as well as performances by talented groups such as the Orchestra, Jazz Band, String Group, and Sax Group.
The College choir was joined by the Year 7 choir who entertained the audience with a variety of songs. The audience was also treated to drama performances from the Year 10 GCSE Drama students.
Mrs Tara Thorn, Head of Creative Arts said “The concerts have been filled with a wide variety of performances. There are many very talented musicians in the school who deserve the credit for the fantastic standard of music that they produce.”
