Last Friday was a truly special occasion as we had the privilege of visiting St. Teresa’s Church in Trent Vale to celebrate the Jubilee Icon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Simon and the parish community for their warm welcome, hospitality, and shared wisdom. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with the history and beauty of the church while deepening their faith.
Our students were profoundly moved by the experience and shared their thoughts on the visit:

Lucy – Year 12
“Fr. Simon is a TOP bloke!”
Charlie – Year 10
“Fr. Simon Hall was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a lovely talk on the history of the church. We learned all about how it was owned by the Michelin family.”
Damian – Year 10
“What a beautiful church, it is very different from St. Giles.”
Bailey – Year 10
“Fr. Simon made us feel very welcome, and we really appreciated the gift of the rosary beads.”

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to visit and for the kindness shown to us. Moments like these strengthen the bonds between our school and the wider faith community, enriching our students’ spiritual journey. Thank you once again, Fr. Simon and St. Teresa’s Parish, for an unforgettable experience.
