On Monday 10th July, 36 Year 9 Spanish students flew to Barcelona for 5 days to experience Spanish culture and visit many of the amazing attractions!
We explored the Nou Camp stadium and admired many of the architectural sights around the city, such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, along with taking a cable car ride up to Montjuic Castle where we took in the amazing views across the city.
The incredibly hot and full-filled week concluded with a trip to Port Aventura (the most visited theme park in Spain) where a thrilling day was had by all! From visiting the market to spontaneous singing on the coach, we all had an amazing time and created many lifelong memories! Thank you especially to Mrs Martin, Mr Davenport, Miss Keeling, Miss Wrightson and Mrs Lowell for organising and looking after us all on the trip!
